Anti-Ragging

Ragging is totally prohibited.

Anyone found guilty of ragging, or of abetting ragging whether actively or passively, or of being party to a conspiracy to promote ragging, is liable to be punished under the Regulations framed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) via Gazette Notification No. F.1-16/2007 (CPP-II) dated 17 June 2009, and under any other applicable law.

These regulations apply not only to the University and its institutions, but to every department, constituent unit, college, centre of study and all premises, whether academic, residential, playground or canteen, whether located on or off campus, and to all means of transportation accessed by students for their studies.
